Studio Antares

Pavel Getov founded Studio Antares to face the challenges of the dynamically-developing field of architecture. Practicing for over 25 years, he has worked with some of the most recognized and celebrated design firms in the world, including Richard Meier and Partners, NBBJ, and Morphosis, where he specialized in developing large-scale complex projects from concept to completion while managing a tight schedule and budget. Educated in both Europe and the United States, Pavel received his Master of Architecture degree from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). He has taught and lectured extensively on design, urban planning, sustainability, and advanced methods of project delivery.

Before becoming a principal in 2006, Alexandrina Getov was responsible for the design of more than one hundred built residential projects throughout Southern California. Her work has been exhibited at the Royal Academy of Art, London, the Vitra Design Museum in Weil, Germany and the 8th International Biennale of Architecture in Sofia. She received her Master’s of Science in Architecture from the HIACE, Sofia and from 1985 to 1991 she worked with the National Institute for Monuments of Culture and the UNESCO Survey Corps in Bulgaria. Samples of her drawings are in the permanent collection of the International Archive of Women in Architecture.
